Electrical Drawing. This is the drawing I used, but do yourself a favor and pull a few extra wires through the tubing from the dash to the engine compartment. IGNITIONCoil resistance between Positive and negative PRIMARY terminals on both the Onan coils I have is 1.1 ohm and 1.2 ohm the SECONDARY coil reads 12.2 k and 11.6 k ohms. there is NO electrical connection between the primary and secondary coil windings. Markings on the coil read ONAN ≈ No. 166C346 Test 6 VOLTS ONLY The series resistor tests at 2 ohm and I am guessing 25 watt ? there were no markings to indicate wattage. However it drops the voltage to the coil by half 12 volts to 6 volts. Onan Ignition Condenser ≈ No.312A69 3 mfd 300 volts DC Carbureter ≈ No. Marval Schrader Mod VD65 Exhaust Manifold ≈ No.P1592 Intake Manifold ≈ No. P1542 |
Power Flow Transmission Model 900.
This Power Flow 900 is not used in my truck, but I thought I would include it. |

Power Flow Transmission Model 985 This is used in My Truck.
Power Flow 985 same as in my Truck.. Be VERY careful to align the Driver and Driven pulleys to the proper offset. I was not aware of this setting when I first got my truck running and ruined 2 new belts because they flipped over. Ken Attkisson had the same problem I had with stripping the gears while truck is stopped and the engine idling the driven pully is still rotating. Ken has installed a new drive belt Gates #42G4455 which has solved the problem, thanks Ken. |

Spicer Axle Differential Manual.
Spicer Manual Page 1. You may notice the travel of the Walker Truck in forward motion the CROWN GEAR rotates in a anti clock direction thus failing to lubricate the pinion bearings by slinging oil through a channel. I replace the filler plug in the cover with a street elbow and over fill the differential. When I got my truck the pinion bearings were welded the their races and had to be cut out with a torch. |
